If you look at lxc.system.conf(5), there is 'lxc.lxc_path' which
equates to the -P lxcpath command line option.

thank you for the tip, serge,
while i like that commandline parameter, i think itd be cleaner to have
a root dir parameter in one of the default config files of lxc.
