Public bug reported: "Maven is a software project management and comprehension tool. Based on the concept of a project object model (POM), Maven can manage a project's build, reporting and documentation from a central piece of information."
I searched Ubuntu with apt-file, synaptics and command-not-found and it seems that maven tool is not present in the repositories. I was surprised not to see maven in Ubuntu Gutsy, since it's widely used for JEE development. Please package maven for hardy, because even if I decide not to use it for my development, I still need it to build examples from the internet etc. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [needs-packaging] Please package maven for hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158969 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
