This is fixed with the snapd in xenial-proposed. Both "snap abort" and "ctrl-c" will now trigger that the download is stopped. Before the change was aborted but only after the download was finished. But this is fixed now and the download stops early. ** Changed in: snapd (Ubuntu) Status:
