Public bug reported:

Upgraded from feisty to Gutsy

I have an nvidia based twinview system, just got a nice new samsung 24"
monitor (syncmaster 245b, recommended) 1900x1200.

Previously had 2 Neovo F419 1280 x 1024, which works just fine and as I
expect. Thought I would replace the left hand one with the samsung as an
experiment. Started compiz and that works fine, I have windows and a
rotating cube working just fine. Just no window decorations. Does not
matter whether I am using gtk-window-decorator or emerald.

Running either decorator manually --replace has no effect, nor does it
send any errors out.

Note that the config is unusual, 1900x1200, 1280x1024

The relevant section of the xorg log is (and you will note that
"AddARGBGLXVisuals" = "True"):-
