Verified with daily build of Ubuntu 16.10(Yakkety) and the issue is not
seen. Kernel panic issue is not seen and OS boots as expected with IOMMU
enabled. Please find the details below:
Server : BL465c Gen8
ROM : A26 03/07/2016
iLO : 2.40
OS : Ubuntu 16.10 (Ubuntu Yakkety Yak (development
Verified with both Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 14.04.4 with the above patch. After
upgrading the kernel, panic issue is still seen with IOMMU enabled as well as
disabled.

Issue is fixed in "Kernel v4.4-16-generic". I am able to boot in both
IOMMU enabled/disabled.

i am facing the issue and i have updated the bug report. As per comment will
you please check hpsa persion used for verification and also exact kernel
patches which has the fixes. please update the bug once you find out the
difference

i ma facing the same problem where disk was not find after the update of
this kernel. Will this patch might impact the uuid of the disk?

Ganesh - lets make really sure you didn't confuse this test kernel with
the one in the archive, though your log does look correct. I've made a
new version with a frigged version string so I'm sure that it is the
correct test kernel. I should have added a unique version string in the
first place.
