I fixed it with `sudo systemctl enable bluetooth` followed by a reboot.
It will print something to the terminal when you enable. Something else
must have disabled bluetooth.

I tested with the kernel 4.8.1 from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ and apparently the problem is
gone, but it looks like the bluez version on ubuntu 16.04 (bluez 5.37) Have
some trouble communicating with this kernel version.
I have to test with a newer version! For now I got
