There are a huge iommu_alloc failure on the dmesg log during our ST run on the 
nvme card.

Hi Canonical,

This patch series that resolves this problem made linux mainline in the 4.9 
merge window:
("dma-mapping, powerpc, nvme: introduce the DMA_ATTR_NO_WARN attribute")

Can you please apply it on 16.04.x?
