Ok. Thanks for the heads up and I only mentioned gedit because someone
mentioned nautilus 3.24 above. Therefore, it would make sense to match
to try to match all the versions of the GNOME Stack as much as possible.
Also, according to this news article
petersaints, the current plan is to upload nautilus 3.24 for Ubuntu
17.10.

Ubuntu 17.04 Beta has the latest version of gedit available, 3.22.0.

Khurshid, sure. nautilus 3.23.90 is in the GNOME3 Staging PPA and works
about the same as 3.22. This is not in zesty because of the three things
mentioned in To Do that do not affect 16.10.

I rather update it to 3.24, provided gtk requirement satisfied. They are
not fixing bugs anymore for 3.22 and soon after 3.24 release they will
mark it as obsolete.
