Thanks, Jeremy. Since I don't use GDM myself, I leave it to you to
decide if SRUing is worth it. It worked before gdm3, and I spotted the
problem accidentally when checking if bug #1639533 applies to GDM.
(Seems as if ~/.xsession-errors isn't enabled.)
