Public bug reported: Binary package hint: python-pyode
On upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy, the python-pyode package failed to install, giving the following error message: Configuring python-pyode (1.2.0-1build1) ... pycentral: pycentral pkginstall: already exists: /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/PyODE-1.2.0.egg-info pycentral pkginstall: already exists: /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/PyODE-1.2.0.egg-info Thus the entire upgrade procedure was aborted. The problem was solved easily by deleting the .egg-info before configuring the package, however the system upgrade had already aborted. ** Affects: pyode (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- python-pyode package fails to install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164761 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
