To manage notifications
"gstreamer1.0-fluendo-mp3" might also be required. But, make sure the
following packages listed below are installed in the system.
$ dpkg -l | grep -i gstre | awk ' { print $2 }'
gir1.2-gst-plugins-base-1.0
gir1.2-gstreamer-1.0
gstreamer1.0-fluendo-mp3:amd64
gstreamer1.0-libav:amd64
# apt-get install gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly is already the newest version (1.8.3-1ubuntu0.1).
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
I meant gstreamer plugins, not rhythmbox plugins.
Run the following commands in terminal ( Terminal Emulator )
1. sudo bash ( enter your user password when prompted )
2. apt-get install gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly
Now extract should work fine.

It works with ogg Vorbis, but not with mp3 oder mp4 audio. ogg Opus
don't know. Extracting now is running.
