Public bug reported:

Journalctl has logged that error:

gnome-session[2786]: gnome-session-binary[2786]: WARNING: Could not parse
desktop file gnome-settings-daemon.desktop or it references a not found TryExec
binary
gnome-session-binary[2786]: WARNING: Could not parse desktop file
gnome-settings-daemon.desktop or it references a not found TryExec binary

/etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-settings-daemon.desktop:

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Name=GNOME Settings Daemon
Exec=/usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon/gnome-settings-daemon-localeexec
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;
NoDisplay=true
X-GNOME-Autostart-Phase=Initialization
X-GNOME-Autostart-Notify=true
X-GNOME-AutoRestart=true
X-Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain=gnome-settings-daemon

the " Exec=/usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon/gnome-settings-daemon-
localeexec " is indeed false, as that path does not exist. Note that
this file was last modified in Jul 2014.

How to cleanup that /etc/xdg/autostart/... file ?
