Public bug reported: I think this is a newbie mistake. I already have a desktop interface. I was following a digital ocean tutorial for setting up VNC. Part of it was installing xfce desktop. My system started being buggy (in steam Warhammer wouldn't display models, on reboot I would type in my password and the screen would go black, and then it would prompt me for my password again). I decided to do a complete system re-install. I got a message that the install is now failing because of not being able to access a drive or something.
