1) Mark purge-old-kernels as planned to be deprecated in Artful. Work as

That would certainly be nice! I'd be delighted to deprecate purge-old-
kernels.
However, the strange reality is that sometimes apt autoremove doesn't
catch all of the kernels that should/could be removed.
And apt behaves badly when your disk is already full (often due to many
gigs of of old kern
