I am using Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 as my primary OS. I installed gnome-shell
3.24.2-0ubuntu0.1 and verified that gnome-shell worked fine in both the
GNOME and GNOME on Wayland sessions after restarting.

Accepted gnome-shell into zesty-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
shell/3.24.2-0ubuntu0.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
