Public bug reported:

Hello!

I'm using TP-LINK Archer T4UH (ver.2.0, black case) on Ubuntu Server
16.04.2 (further referred to as "client"). Wireless connection type is
WPA2-Enterprise with PEAP-MSCHAPv2 using deployment on Cisco WLC with
AireOS 8.3 and 2602I and 2702I access point on the 802.11n SSID in 5GHz.
Signal level is about -55dBm, Signal quality - about 40dB. Interface
name for the 802.11 NIC is Dot11radio0

Drivers in use are:
    # modinfo rtl8812au
    filename: /lib/modules/4.4.0-77-generic/updates/dkms/rtl8812au.ko
    version: v4.3.14_13455.20150212_BTCOEX20150128-51
    author: Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
    description: Realtek Wireless Lan Driver

Drivers are slightly modified to add new idProduct in them, because
stock drivers only list Archer T4UH v1.0 idProduct, not v2.0, despite
their chip is exact the same.

The issues I'm facing are:
    1) Wireless connection drops after roughly 2 hours of activity, client
disappears from the WLC and ifconfig on the client shows IP address assigned
and nmcli shows Wi-Fi as connected, but in fact, no connectivity is in place.
Also, during that outage, client constantly sends DHCPREQUEST messages;
        2) Wireless connection drops on arbitrary time, client disappears from
the WLC and ifconfig on the client shows no IP assigned, nmcli outputs are:
                nmcli radio wifi = enabled
nmcli dev wifi list = <empty>
                        service network-manager restart, service
network-manager status:
                                        May 16 11:07:49 nms-05

activation failed.

Interestingly, Windows 7 PC wireless connection with that 802.11 NIC is stable
24/7.
What else info do I need to provide for you to make a research on that topic?
