Public bug reported: 1) lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS Release: 16.04
2) apt-cache policy phpmyadmin phpmyadmin: Installed: 4:4.5.4.1-2ubuntu2 Candidate: 4:4.5.4.1-2ubuntu2 3) When browsing to "User accounts" in phpMyAdmin I'd like to see all the available user accounts. 4) Viewing user accounts with the phpmyadmin package of Xenial and Percona 5.7 doesn't work, you will be greeted with the following message: Your privilege table structure seems to be older than this MySQL version! This is not the case, this happens because phpMyAdmin doesn't recognize the ServerType Percona is using. Attached a patch that should fix this issue. ** Affects: phpmyadmin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: percona phpmyadmin ** Patch added: "Patch to fix privilege table structure warning" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1693778/+attachment/4884059/+files/pma_percona57.diff -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1693778 Title: Viewing User accounts with phpMyAdmin and Percona 5.7 doesn't work on Ubuntu Xenial To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/phpmyadmin/+bug/1693778/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
