After several attempts to install Ubuntu from the same USB stick, I succeeded
doing so:
- downloading kubuntu-16.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso and burning a DVD-RW
- keeping the DVD in the player
- Stopping Windows but with the choice "Reboot" and pressing the Shift key all
along the closing process

Install from an USB stick (32 Go) with a persistent live Ubuntu 16.04.2
