I upgraded to BIOS 1.5.0 yesterday and also upgraded the dock firmware yesterday as well again (using windows-10-on-the-go usb stick I created just for that purpose). No improvements - I got a nice freeze on boot again (kernel 4.12.13). Also, Windows 10 seems to be working on the same hardware
