I AM USING AN OLDER INSTALLER BECAUSE WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO CREATE A NEW
BOOTABLE FLASH STICK INSTALLER WITH ANY MORE RECENT VERSION
CANONICAL/UBUNTU HAD PASSWORD DISABLED THEM!! THAT, AND I NEED THE
LEGACY WACOM GRAPHICS PAD AND MOUSE ACCELERATION FUNCTIONS WHICH ARE
OMITTED IN NEWER INSTALL

Ubuntu better. We noticed that you were installing the LTS version of
Ubuntu using an older version of the installation media. The latest
point release of 14.04 is 14.04.5. Please try installing from that
version of the
