I hadn't used sshfs on Power machines before so there isn't a prior good
version.
Mainline v4.13 - jenkins-ppc64
steps on host:
virsh start {guest}
sshfs ozlabs@jenkins-ppc64:/home/ozlabs jenkins-ppc64/ -o
reconnect,idmap=user
cd jenkins-ppc64/linux
make -j 400 ; # something with a lot
Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest

While attempting to reproduce:
With make -j 400 running in another shell:
danielgb@p87:~$ virsh suspend jenkins-ppc64
Domain jenkins-ppc64 suspended
wait over 2 minutes.
danielgb@p87:~$ virsh resume jenkins-ppc64
Domain jenkins-ppc64 resumed
danielgb@p87:~$ virsh list
IdName
