Public bug reported: Using Amarok 1.4.7
Several mp3's in my music collection will have corrupted album art displayed in the OSD and Context menu. In a specific case, I have links to 2 screenshots of 2 different songs, both from the same album. The first song displays the album art correctly, but the second song shows a corrupted image: http://www.dfreer.org/~dfreer/screenshots/amarok_fine.png http://www.dfreer.org/~dfreer/screenshots/amarok_glitch.png Furthermore, when trying to change the album art for either song, to a randomly different album art, the art doesn't change at all. "Unset Cover" does not remove the art either. The mp3's are stored on a samba share (mounted on my local hard drive), and I have read/write permissions to the share. All of the music is owned by my user, and have 644 permissions.
