I have the same problem with maverick: Dual monitors arranged vertically; top and bottom panel are on the same monitor; windows on the monitor with the panels maximize under the panel near the other monitor. -- Maximized windows extend below panel on primary monitor if taskbar too large

I was told this is my bug, but my taskbar is 24 issues high. So does that fall under bug 140860 or this bug? I still can't get maximize to not go under the panel on the monitor if the screen edge goes onto another monitor, and I think that's the underlying issue ... (on latest jaunty) --
