Sorry but Firefox-2 is getting near EOS and they wont be fixing anything
but major issues security issues mainly. Please try to reproduce this
with Firefox-3.0 if you can reproduce this bug please click on Help
Report a problem and file the bug that way. This does not mean that it

So far I disabled all desktop effect and firefox is running smootly without any
crash. Maybe there is a compatibility problem with compiz-fusion. My
configuration is:
AMD Athlon xP 2800+
512Mb ram
ATI Radeon 7000
Gutsy 7.10

I tried to delete the profile, but without any results. Opera web browser
worked fine. I resolved the problem disabling all desktop effect. Maybe there
is a compatibility problem between compiz-fusion and firefox 2.0.0.11 in my

The problem is still present but the crashes are less frequent. This
morning the crash happened with firefox as the only running program. I
have installed opera as web browser to see if the problem presents also
with this (hence meaning a possibile problem in the plugins). If opera

No I didn't tried, but if you think it's worth I'll do, but why? Among
other stuff such as the bookmarks this will delete all the configuration
files.
