Public bug reported: I'm planning to upgrade my Ubuntu 16.04.3 to Ubuntu 18.04 in April. QGIS is the my main working software for making maps etc.
If you go to QGIS download page https://qgis.org/en/site/forusers/download.html it uses the terms '2.14.22 (previous LTR)' and '2.18.16 (new LTR)'. But right now, the version marked here on Launchpad for QGIS is 2.14.22, but why not 2.18.16? Since Ubuntu 18.04 will be an LTS release I think it would be great to have the current LTR version instead of the old. ** Affects: qgis (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: upgrade-software-version -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1745657 Title: Why not the 2.18.16 LTR version for Bionic Beaver?
