Public bug reported:

I started Ubuntu from a USB drive, then clicked on "Install Ubuntu".

I chose to both download packages during installation and install 3rd
party software, then I chose all my options (lang: EN, keyb: ES, etc.).
I answered that I wanted UEFI even if my old OS was not UEFI. I also did
manual partitioning like this:

- Delete sda1
- Create sda1 as ext4
- Format sda1
- Mount sda1 as /
- Mount sdb1 as ext4
- DO NOT format sdb1 (it's my old home partition and I want to keep it!)
- Mount sdb1 as /home
- Mount sdb2 as swap
- Format sdb2
- Install loader on sda

Installation was going fine but at the end it failed when doing
something with UEFI.

Maybe I needed to create a partition for UEFI? If so, I wasn't warned.
