Public bug reported: Currently this package doesn't include a Myanmar (Burmese) locale. Will the Hardy release include support for Unicode 5.1? http://www.unicode.org/versions/Unicode5.1.0/
If so, would it be possible to add a Myanmar locale. A suitable locale is available is available at: http://www.thanlwinsoft.org/ThanLwinSoft/Downloads/Collation/locale-my-0.0.20071210.tar.gz At the moment this relies on patching /usr/share/i18n/charmaps/UTF-8.gz to include the extra code points, but if the main UTF-8.gz is updated to include all the 5.1 changes, then this will no longer be necessary. ** Affects: langpack-locales (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Add Myanmar my-MM locale (needs Unicode 5.1) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/175368 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
