Public bug reported: Hi,
I'm running a 18.04 alpha/beta from the daily builds to test some things, thus started with the default new ubuntu (gnome) desktop. When I install lubuntu-desktop, I get new session types like LXDE and Lubuntu, which I can choose at login time from the gdm session chooser (gear- wheel symbol). But when I install xubuntu-desktop, I don't get new session types. With former ubuntu releases, this was working. regards ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 18.04 Package: xubuntu-desktop 2.223 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.15.0-12.13-generic 4.15.7 Uname: Linux 4.15.0-12-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.8-0ubuntu10 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: LXDE Date: Fri Mar 16 11:37:09 2018 InstallationDate: Installed on 2018-03-05 (11 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS "Bionic Beaver" - Alpha amd64 (20180305) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm-256color PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: xubuntu-meta UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: xubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug bionic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1756298 Title: missing xubuntu session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xubuntu-meta/+bug/1756298/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
