Thanks for the info. But unfortunately, wengophone doesn't create a crash report and I couldn't find the 'report a problem' option. Also, the crash report application ignores my proxy settings so it cannot even upload a crash report when one is created. -- [Hardy]Wengophone crashes with 'Aborted

Sorry, but wengophone has never created a crash report as other applications do. Also, wengophone-dbgsym is an older version than wengophone and therefore not installable. But I installed wengophone-dbg and here is the backtrace, following the steps from the wiki. ** Attachment added:
