Will this ever get fixed? I need wifi for phone calls sometimes. I get all the settings juuust right, then bam! Airplane mode. Just for no reason. I have set it to not save power, ever, for any reason, done the tweaks. But my settings go back to default after a restart. For some this not a

I'm having a desktop system where the wifi is disabled from the bios, and the airplane mode is constantly enabled. This in turn makes it near impossible to use a bluetooth headset, or anything bluetooth. Ubuntu Focal Fossa (development branch) Need a fix. -- You received this bug notification

Ubuntu devs are still dreaming that the OS will conquer "Chromebook" world, and will be running on tablets as well. Obviously, if a user turns of wifi, it's not because they most likely docked their notebook, no, it's because they're on an airplane with their tablet and need the airplane mode. --

I'm not sure what that meant. Could you rephrase? Note that the issue is that the user turns OFF Wi-Fi, but the system turns ON Airplane mode. An analogy would be one wants to flush the toilet, but the computer turns off the lights, instead. Perhaps some of the goals are accomplished either way,
