network-manager really has nothing whatsoever to do with this. It just
happens to be showing up in the log.

Thanks for your report. Error code 135 (Bus error) and your subsequent
inability to run any programs from the live CD are characteristic of a
faulty CD/DVD disk or drive. It may help to clean the CD/DVD, to burn
the CD/DVD at a lower speed, or to clean the CD/DVD drive lens (cleaning
kits are
OK but my CD is a CD which come directly from Ubuntu as it's Ubuntu
which has send me that CD... So the problem is not what you said...
