thanks for reporting! but since this bug has been reported a while ago
and not been touched since i dare to ask if it still is a problem. if it
still is, please file it against a specific package so the relevant
people will have a look at it...

Well actually xgl does not support xinput, so one is unable to use
extended input devices and xgl at the same time.
I think this bug should be set to invalid since it is more a feature
request.

Well it seems that is is due to Xgl, and actually I'm not sure if xinput
is supposed to be supported by Xgl.
