Public bug reported: Some of the initramfs scripts included in initramfs-tools-ubuntu-core could be re-used in classic systems. Concretely, the resize script. I propose to split this package in two parts, one specific for Ubuntu Core, keeping the name, and another one with scripts that can be useful also in classic systems, especially on IoT ones.
I have uploaded to a PPA the resulting packages: https://launchpad.net/~alfonsosanchezbeato/+archive/ubuntu/initramfs- packages/+packages ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Assignee: Alfonso Sanchez-Beato (alfonsosanchezbeato) Status: In Progress ** Tags: needs-packaging ** Tags added: needs-packaging ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: ubuntu Assignee: (unassigned) => Alfonso Sanchez-Beato (alfonsosanchezbeato) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1788601 Title: It should be possible to use some initramfs-tools-ubuntu-core scripts in classic systems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1788601/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
