Public bug reported: I'm not sure, but I think when I install the syncthing package, the file /etc/ufw/applications.d/syncthing should be included? It is mentioned here: https://docs.syncthing.net/users/firewall.html#uncomplicated- firewall-ufw . The file itself is here: https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/blob/master/etc/firewall- ufw/syncthing .
Doing so enables the "syncthing" and "syncthing-gui" profiles. Of course, it is easy to copy the file myself, but the documentation at the first link seems to imply that it should be part of the package. Perhaps it is incorrect? $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS Release: 18.04 $ apt-cache policy syncthing syncthing: Installed: 0.14.43+ds1-6 Candidate: 0.14.43+ds1-6 Version table: *** 0.14.43+ds1-6 500 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: syncthing (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1793045 Title: Missing file for ufw?
