I come across the same problem with evince after a recent upgrade to
Ubuntu 18.04. Whether I open a file using evince or simply run evince in
command line, I always get the "Segmentation fault" error.

I would point out that the reporter states (in the bug description)
"Launching evince from the command line without specifying a file also
crashes".
This means that the problem is not related to any pdf file, so asking
for an upload is perfectly unuseful. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I uploaded the sample pdf though the launchpad web instead of attaching
it to an email. evince crashes for me when I try to open it.

the file isn't working/launchpad gives an error page when trying to
click on it for some reason
