Correction (that's what I get for not checking the configs first!): it
was classified as "safe" and therefore sent an internal peer.

Title:
We're currently running a somewhat complex split architecture in order
to mitigate the SKS "key of death" problem.
The request above was probably classified as "unsafe" and sent to one of
our internal peers (we're using a whitelist rather than a blacklist).

It appears this may have regressed. As of today,
http://keyserver.ubuntu.com:11371/pks/lookup?op=stats again only shows
gossip peers within canonical and keys from other keyservers are not
making their way into the Ubuntu keyserver.

Yes, keyserver.ubuntu.com seems to be working properly now.
http://sks-keyservers.net/status/ shows the canonical.com keyservers as

I also confirm that keys pushed (only) to keyserver.ubuntu.com do not
seem to propagate.
I also note that keyserver.ubuntu.com is not listed on http://sks-

the maintainers of that site to ask that that it be added.

This bug persists.
Just a few days ago, there was an e-mail on the official Kubuntu-users
reflector (message gra4j5$iv...@ger.gmane.org) telling someone to get
key 9423A34CCA967634 from keyserver.ubuntu.com.
A search on pgp.mit.edu indicates that that key has not been propagated
to the keyserver
N7DR - are you still encountering this problem? if so, I'll report it to
the Ubuntu sysadmins. if not, please close the bug.
Thanks

No, this is not a problem with the Ubuntu Distribution, rather, it is a
problem with the website.
In any case, keys _I_ submit to the Ubuntu keyserver seem to make their
way to MIT...

Why was this marked "invalid"???
I waited for quite a long time and then manually added this key to the
MIT server, because there's no point in a public key that's not
available on the usual network of public keyservers.
Do you mean that the problem has been fixed and the Ubuntu keyserver now
