Actually, I know very little about how this operating system works. It's a
long story.
The person who set up my computer has now moved out of town and I live in a
remote area where there is no one local who can teach me how to move around
this operating system.
Do you know what adblocker extension you were using?
Can you open about:addons and check whether it's listed there? Does it say
anything about the extension being disabled for some reason?
