Dash to Dock works for me but pretty much nothing else does, including the apparently "officially supported" classic applications menu. Intentional breakage eh, nice of the GNOME team to confuse all the users and provide a super helpful "Error." message long as things are easier for the devs,

This report seems surprising to me, I never had problems using the ubuntu branch of the extension nor the upstream one in 19.04 (and I'm using it since the release). A couple of coworkers are using ubuntu 19.04 with a fully functional dock also. I also have used arch and fedora with gnome 3.32 and

Looks like this was fixed for gnome-shell-extension-*ubuntu-dock* in upload 64ubuntu5 (March 7). However gnome-shell-extension-*dashtodock* appears unfixed in the Ubuntu package This issue is fixed upstream in git master, however, it appears it has not been released to extensions.gnome.org or
