There's a patch in the upstream bug, does the 2.2.2 or 2.2.3 version of
gnucash fix this issue? You can wait for gnucash 2.2.3 to be merged from
debian ( bug #179104 ) and then test this on Hardy if you want.

As I said upstream:
This definitely fixes the resizing issue. I think this should be applied. Then,
if the setting of the manual-resize control was remembered, this would be
perfect.
So, if they apply that, it's still not 100% fixed.

Ok great, so I think that this bug can be worked out in the upstream bug
and then, when it will be fixed in a upstream version, we can update
gnucash in the ubuntu hardy or hardy+1. Thanks for all your work on
this.
