Replace url of first tab with "/\// " including two spaces.
2.
Avoid pressing Back command (it is the left arrow on command toolbar of a
browser).
This way performance stays acceptable and doesn't start to degrade at
all.

I can see it with my own eyes. Nothing is trying to burn my keyboard,
monitor or a mouse.
And scrolling is animated.
