The machine is still on test, so, yes, I can try again an installation

Interesting, that very same iso works well on P8 and I tried on a P9
(witherspoon) vm and didn't have any issue.
I don't have access to RaptorCS machines, though I don't get what could be
related to the hardware given the type of error at that point
Could you attach some more logs :
The iso comes from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/19.04/release/ubuntu-19.04-server-
ppc64el.iso
and the install is on a RaptorCS Blackbird mainboard with 8 core Power9.
