Yes, however the data will be in the centre of the disk, where the data
rate is slowest. What I'm proposing is a version with the data at the
end of the disk (in the outer section), where the data rate is the
fastest.
The data transfer rate of DVDs and CDs varies depending on where on the
disk
As far as I know you could just burn the cd image to a dvd?
