Yes Paride, that makes sense. I believe I hadn't run sync before
removing the SD card and it was in fact corrupt.

Could this be a corrupted filesystem issue? Errno 117 is EUCLEAN:
$ errno 117
EUCLEAN 117 Structure needs cleaning
which in ext4 is the same of EFSCORRUPTED:
https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/fs/ext4/ext4.h#L3399
Does it make sense?
