Sorry it took me awhile.. run as requested following lockup..
It seems initially it still responds to keystrokes, lets you open new
tabs.. but then eventually the whole UI freezes, and attempts to close
with the X will get the app DNR dialog.
"killall chrome" nukes it, and it can then be re-run

Stable and beta.. I'll see if I have the transition package installed

just stable?
