Public bug reported: MY friend is using the following Kicad and my extra fields on parts are being displayed as Field4 and Field5. They should be named NPM and SKU. The .sch files have the right label there since he got the files from our GitHub. I tried to remove the ~/.config/kicad folder but nothing has changed.
This is a sample of the grep output to show the last word "MPN" in "F 4" lines sch/peripherals.sch:F 4 "1N4148X-TP" V 9700 5050 50 0001 C CNN "MPN" sch/power_supply.sch:F 4 "CC0402KRX5R5BB105" H 7700 3750 50 0001 C CNN "MPN" sch/power_supply.sch:F 4 "C0402C103K4RAC7411" H 7300 3750 50 0001 C CNN "MPN" His version is the lates stable but for ubuntu 18.04 Application: KiCad Version: 5.1.5-52549c584ubuntu18.04.1, release build Libraries: wxWidgets 3.0.4 libcurl/7.58.0 OpenSSL/1.1.1 zlib/1.2.11 libidn2/2.0.4 libpsl/0.19.1 (+libidn2/2.0.4) nghttp2/1.30.0 librtmp/2.3 Platform: Linux 5.0.0-37-generic x86_64, 64 bit, Little endian, wxGTK Build Info: wxWidgets: 3.0.4 (wchar_t,wx containers,compatible with 2.8) GTK+ 3.22 Boost: 1.65.1 OpenCASCADE Community Edition: 6.9.1 Curl: 7.58.0 Compiler: GCC 7.4.0 with C++ ABI 1011 I am using Ubuntu 19.10, and I was not able to reproduce this.
