Public bug reported:

This package is a nice thing to introduce customized input actions.
However the integration is hardly documented. There is no startup file
or anything, so for an enduser viewpoint it is extremely hard to work
with.

For using it there are two approaches thinkable:

1. User systemd: There is a sample systemd service definition provided,
however this is not usable.

2. User based autostart, however there are no desktop definitions for
starting up this service.
