Three different modes sounds confusing indeed. I suspect what you are actually seeing is: 1. The login screen is 3840x2160 but scaled 2x to look like 1920x1080. 2. Successful login is 3840x2160 at scale 1x. 3. The desktop loads and your personal setting of 1920x1080 is used. ** Tags added:
