There is a new version on Intrepid (0.2.6). Can you try with this new version
and see if the bug is still here ?
If so, Can you test with the last upstream trunk build
(http://wiki.awn-project.org/Installation:Ubuntu#PPA) ?

I'd like to see if the issue can be reproduced on, at least, a release
version of Hardy preferably with a new version of awn. If it can be
reproduced the bug will be investigated further.
