Disagree, I just started having this problem in the last week. This
affects any save/open file dialog, but not regular Nautilus file
browsing for me.

Yeah, definitely a bigger problem there. I too was able to reproduce
this.

gedit crashed with SIGSEGV in g_datalist_id_set_data_full()

I was able to reproduce these crashes (opening file dialog, closing it
and open it again) in OpenOffice.org, Homebank, Anjuta, Gedit, etc. so
it's definitely a GNOME/GVFS related problem as it wasn't reproducible
in Amarok which is a KDE application.
I've filed another bug about the same issue
Severin, how else have you been able to reproduce this bug? I've only
seen it in Firefox 2 and 3.

Now it gets really strange. As it seems, Firefox isn't to blame for the
crashes, as these crashes happen in every application. This problem must
have been introduced in a recent Hardy update. We need to move this bug
to the right package, as it's a GNOME/GTK2 problem of whatever. Any
suggestions?
