Public bug reported: We use autolog to end idle sessions on systems which are configured with nss_winbind. When the DOMAIN\user string is >20 chars this will crash autolog as a fixed string field is overflowed. The source seems to have not had much attention (presumably because it is either typically reliable or not much used) for a long time. I have done some work which resolves the issue that I encountered as well as trying to make it more reliable by using 'n' variants of sprintf, strcpy etc. I have published my modified source at:
